The Drag and Drop Builder allows users to use a pre-defined data view to build their reports without having to worry about SQL. After selecting the Drag and Drop authoring tool, you will be presented with the following display:

Selecting your View

From here you will need to select a View on which to build your report. The main panel displays a list of available Views, while the left hand search panel allows you to narrow the list in several ways:
Keyword Search
This search allows you to perform a search based on text found in the View's Name, Description, or Fields contained within it.

Data Source
This option allows you to restrict Views to only those based on the selected Data Source.

View Category
This option allows you to restrict Views to only those based on the selected View Category.
Unable to render embedded object: File (04categoryFilter.png) not found.
View Type
This option allows you to restrict Views to only those created using the selected build method.
Unable to render embedded object: File (05viewTypeFilter.png) not found.
The available options include:
- Composite Views
- OLAP Cubes
- Drag and Drop Builder
- CSV Import
- Freehand SQL
- Stored Procedure
Once you have narrowed the View list down using the options outlined above, simply click on the desired View's name and you will proceed to the first step of the Report Building process, the [Data] page.
Create Data Set

If the user has the appropriate creation permissions, they have the option to create a Data Source or View from this page if they can't find a suitable option for their report.
