Box & Whisker Tutorial

Summary
In order to set up a Box & Whisker Chart you will need:
- Create a report with chart display
- Select a field to use as the Label
- Select a field to use as the Series
- Enable the display of duplicate records
- Create your chart, selecting Analytical as the type, and Box & Whisker as the chart
- Provide the Label and Series options and Refresh
- Customise the Chart as required
- Close the Chart Builder
- Save your report
Tutorial
1. Click on the Create link and select Report to begin building your report.
2. You should now be on the Initialise Report page. Select the Drag and Drop Builder as the build tool.
5. As the Box and Whisker Chart requires all invdividual values available you will need to enable the display of Duplicate Records so that Yellowfin doesn't limit the results to distinct values.
6. To do this, expand the Report Data section and enable the Show Duplicate Records option.
7. On the Report Data page, drag and drop the Year dimension, and
Profit Margin metric into the Column Fields area.
8. Add the Booking Status dimension to the Filters area as well.
9. You will need to remove the aggregation from the Profit Margin field by selecting it and clicking on the
Clear button.
10. Click on at the top of the page to move to the next step.
11. Next you will need to setup a filter to remove results where the booking was cancelled.
12. Set the filter to Booking Status Equal to Active.
13. Click on at the top of the page to move to the next step.
14. You should now see the Pie Chart image (pictured here). Click on the image to go to the Chart Format page where you can setup your chart.
17. In the Chart Data section you will need to select the data for each setting in the chart.
18. Set the Series to Camp Rating.
19. Click the Refresh link to generate your chart.
