The Bubble Chart can be used with categorical, sequential or time-series data. Bubble size and location combine to effectively display 3-D data on a 2-D chart. Data can also be displayed in quadrants, allowing for negative X and Y values.
1. Click on the Create link and select Report to begin building your report.
2. You should now be on the Initialise Report page. Select the Drag and Drop Builder as the build tool.
5. On the Step 1. Report Data page set the Output Options to Chart Only by selecting it in the Report Options section on the right. This will ensure that the information appears as a chart.
6. On the Report Data page, drag and drop the Camp Demographic dimension, and the Cost of Camp, Profit Margin, and Invoiced Amount metrics into the Column Fields area.
7. You will need to remove the aggregations from all of the metrics. To do this select each one individually and click on the Clear button.
8. Click on at the top of the page to move to the next step.
9. You should now see the Pie Chart image (pictured here). Click on the image to go to the Chart Format page where you can setup your chart.
12. In the Chart Data section you will need to select the data for each setting in the chart.
13. Set the X Axis to Sum Cost of Camp, the Y Axis to Sum Invoiced Amount, the Size to Profit Margin, and the Colour to Camp Demographic.
14. Click the Refresh link to generate your chart.
