*2.* You should now be on the Initialise Report page. Select the *Drag and Drop Builder* as the build tool.

*5.* Tick the checkbox next to *Sub Queries* to enable them. There should now be a *Sub Query* link at the top of the page.

*6.* Click on the *Sub Query* link. This will open the *Sub Query Type* menu.

*7.* Set the Type to *Minus*.

*8.* Click *Submit*.

*9.* You should now have a *Master Query* Tab and a *Sub Query* Tab. Click on the *Master Query* tab to setup the query.

*10.* Drag and drop the !rpt_dim.png! *Athlete ID*, !rpt_dim.png! *First Name*, and !rpt_dim.png! *Last Name* dimensions into the *Column Fields* area. 

*11.* Drag and drop the !rpt_dim.png! *Year* dimension into the *Filters* area.

*12.* Now click on the *Sub Query* tab to setup the sub query fields.

*13.* Select the *Athlete ID* field in the *Master Query Filter* to nominate it as the field to be filtered in the Master Query by the Sub Query.

*14.* Select the *Athlete ID* field in the *Link Field* area to nominate it as the field that provides the filter values for the *Master Query Filter*.

*15.* Drag and drop the !rpt_dim.png! *Year* dimension into the Filters area.

*16.* You can now click on the !step_right_on.png! at the top of the page to progress to the next step.

h2. Filtering your Results

*1.* Now to setup the filters. Click on the !rpt_filterprompt.gif! *Filter Prompt* as before as set the *Master Filter* to *2010*. 

*2.* Leave this set to *Equal to* and click on the *Sub Query* tab to set up the other filter.

*3.* Set the value to *2010* using the same steps as above, but this time select *Different From* from the drop down list. This will ensure that any records that are not in 2010 are removed from the results.

*4.* Your finished report should look like the one pictured here.

*6.* Set the *Name* of your report to *Minus Sub Query Tutorial*.

*7.* Set the *Description* to *This report was written using the Sub Query Tutorial*.

*8.* Select *Tutorial* as the *Category*.

*9.* Select *Advanced Reporting* as the *Sub Category*.

*10.* Click *Save* to finish.
