Note: if you wish to use your own image you will need to make sure it has some transparency. Basically, any area of the image that has colour (of any shade) will be coloured in the chart, any transparent area will be left blank. You need some transparent area in order for the chart to be anything other than a large block shape.|
|Series|Typically a numeric value such as $. An item that you want to measure on your Chart|

h3. Summary
In order to set up a Proportional Infographic Chart you will need:
# Create a report with chart display
## Select a field to use as the *Label*
## Select a field to use as the *Series*
# Create your chart, selecting *Special Purpose* as the type, and *Proportional Infographic* as the chart
# Provide the *Label* and *Series* options
# Select or Upload an image
# *Refresh*
# Customise the Chart as required
# *Close* the Chart Builder
# *Save* your report

*1.* Click on the *Create* link and select *Report* to begin building your report.

*2.* You should now be on the Initialise Report page. Select the *Drag and Drop Builder* as the build tool.

*3.* Select *Ski Team* as the View.
*4.* Now click the !step_right_on.png! button to proceed.

*5.* You should now be on the *Step 1. Report Data* page. To start with, set the Output Options to *Chart Only* by selecting it in the *Report Options* section on the right. This will ensure that the information appears as a chart.

*6.* On the Report Data page, drag and drop the !rpt_dim.png! *Camp Name* and !rpt_dim.png! *Athlete ID* fields into the *Column Fields* area.
*7.* Drag and drop the !rpt_dim.png! *Camp Country* field into the *Filters* area.
*8.* Select the !rpt_dim.png! *Athlete ID* field and add a !countdistinct.png! *Count Distinct* aggregation to it.
*9.* Click on !step_right_on.png! at the top of the page.

*10.* On the *Filters* page, set *Camp Country* to be *Equal to*.
*11.* Click on the !rpt_filterprompt.gif! link to set the value.
*12.* Select *Japan*. In this case, we are only interested in seeing camps from Japan so that the results relate to our choice of image.
*13.* Click *Submit* to save your changes.

*15.* On the Report Preview page click on the Pie Chart image as before.
*16.* Click on the *Chart* Menu and select *Special Purpose* as the Chart Type and *Proportional Infographic* as the subtype (click on the picture on the left).
*17.* Click *Save* to load the options for a *Funnel Chart*.

*18.* Set the Chart Data settings.
*19.* Select *Camp Name* for the Label.
*20.* Select *Count Athlete ID* as the Series.

*21.* Click on the *Image Manager* link to select your image file.
*22.* Select the *Kyoto Skyline* image.

*24.* Resize your chart so that it looks correct. You should now have a chart that looks like the one pictured here.

*25.* You now need to *Save* and *Activate* your chart. Click on the *Close* button to go back to the Report Preview page.
*26.* Click on the *Save* Menu and use *Proportional Infographic Chart Tutorial* as the Name.
*27.* Type *This Proportional Infographic Chart was created using the Charts Tutorial* as the Description.
*28.* Enter *Tutorial* as the Category and *Charts* as the Sub Category.
*29.* Click *Activate*.
