The Bubble Chart can be used with categorical, sequential or time-series data. Bubble size and location combine to effectively display 3-D data on a 2-D chart. Data can also be displayed in quadrants, allowing for negative X and Y values.

*2.* On the *Step 1. Report Data* page set the Output Options to *Chart Only* by selecting it in the *Report Options* section on the right. This will ensure that the information appears as a chart.

*3.* On the Report Data page, drag and drop the !rpt_dim.png! *Camp Demographic* dimension, and the !rpt_metric.png! *Cost of Camp*, !rpt_metric.png! *Profit Margin*, and !rpt_metric.png! *Invoiced Amount* metrics into the Column Fields area.
*4.* You will need to remove the aggregations from all of the metrics. To do this select each one individually and click on the !clear.png! Clear button.
*5.* Click on !step_right_on.png! at the top of the page to move to the next step.

*6.* You should now see the Pie Chart image (pictured here). Click on the image to go to the Chart Format page where you can setup your chart.

*7.* Click on the *Chart* Menu, select *Statistical* as the Chart Type and click on the picture of the *Scatter* Chart to select it.
*8.* Click *Save*, this will load the options for a Scatter Chart.

*9.* In the *Chart Data* section you will need to select the data for each setting in the chart.
*10.* Set the X Axis to *Month*, the Y Axis to *Sum Athlete Counter*, and the Colour to *Demographic*.
*11.* Click the *Refresh* link to generate your chart.

*12.* You should now have a chart that looks like the one pictured.
*13.* You now need to *Save* and *Activate* your chart. Click on the *Close* button to go back to the Report Preview page.

*14.* Click on the *Save* Menu and use *Bubble Chart Tutorial* as the Name.
*15.* Type *This Bubble Chart was created using the Charts Tutorial* as the Description.
*16.* Enter *Tutorial* as the Category and *Charts* as the Sub Category.
*17.* Click *Activate*.
