h3. Summary
In order to set up a Box & Whisker Chart you will need:
# Create a report with chart display
## Select a field to use as the *Label*
## Select a field to use as the *Series*
## Enable the display of *duplicate records*
# Create your chart, selecting *Analytical* as the type, and *Box & Whisker* as the chart
# Provide the *Label* and *Series* options and *Refresh*
# Customise the Chart as required
# *Close* the Chart Builder
# *Save* your report

*1.* Click on the *Create* link and select *Report* to begin building your report.

*2.* You should now be on the Initialise Report page. Select the *Drag and Drop Builder* as the build tool.

*3.* Select *Ski Team* as the View.

*4.* Now click the !step_right_on.png! button to proceed.

*5.* As the Box and Whisker Chart requires all invdividual values available you will need to enable the display of Duplicate Records so that Yellowfin doesn't limit the results to distinct values.

*6.* To do this, expand the *Report Data* section and enable the *Show Duplicate Records* option.

*7.* On the Report Data page, drag and drop the !rpt_dim.png! *Year* dimension, and !rpt_metric.png! *Profit Margin* metric into the Column Fields area.

*8.* Add the !rpt_dim.png! *Booking Status* dimension to the Filters area as well.

*9.* You will need to remove the aggregation from the !rpt_metric.png! *Profit Margin* field by selecting it and clicking on the !clear.png! Clear button.

*10.* Click on !step_right_on.png! at the top of the page to move to the next step.

*11.* Next you will need to setup a filter to remove results where the booking was cancelled. 

*12.* Set the filter to *Booking Status* Equal to *Active*.

*13.* Click on !step_right_on.png! at the top of the page to move to the next step.

*14.* You should now see the Pie Chart image (pictured here). Click on the image to go to the Chart Format page where you can setup your chart.

*15.* Click on the *Chart* Menu, select *Analytical* as the Chart Type and click on the picture of the *Box and Whisker* Chart to select it. 

*16.* Click *Save*, this will load the options for a Box and Whisker Chart.

*17.* In the *Chart Data* section you will need to select the data for each setting in the chart.

*18.* Set the Series to *Camp Rating*.

*19.* Click the *Refresh* link to generate your chart.

*20.* You should now have a chart that looks like the one pictured. 

*21.* You now need to *Save* and *Activate* your chart. Click on the *Close* button to go back to the Report Preview page.

*22.* Click on the *Save* Menu and use *Box and Whisker Chart Tutorial* as the Name.

*23.* Type *This Box and Whisker Chart was created using the Charts Tutorial* as the Description.

*24.* Enter *Tutorial* as the Category and *Charts* as the Sub Category.

*25.* Click *Activate*.
